I have had the pleasure of working with Peter Jessen as my saxophone repairman for many years now. In addition to the fact that I always get my instrument back from him in perfect condition, he makes fantastic instruments himself. He has made the necks on both my tenor- and soprano saxophones, and he was the one who really opened my eyes to how much the ligature means for your sound, as he practically custom made ligatures to fit my mouthpiece and sound. Peter Jessen is a uniquely capable saxophone craftsman and I always use him if I have the opportunity.
